History
1928 - Frank Stark, a German plumber, immigrates to the United States and starts working for plumbing companies in Cincinnati.
1931- Stark opens his own shop, Stark Plumbing. Residential work. One-man operation.
1961 - Stark Plumbing joins Local 59 Plumbers Union and starts taking on commercial construction.
1993 - Mark Stark merges the company with Nelson Excavating to form Nelson Stark Company.
Present - Today, Nelson Stark employs over 200 union-trained plumbers, operators, and laborers across two offices in Cincinnati and Dayton. The company runs its commercial plumbing, site development, and specialty services divisions off a dedicated campus in Cincinnati. The facilities handle everything from design meetings to pre-fabrication to large-scale equipment storage.
