Who We Are
In 1928 a German plumber by the name of Frank Stark immigrated to the United States. After working for various plumbing companies, he opened Stark Plumbing in 1940. The company concentrated on residential plumbing for nearly twenty years. Looking to diversify in 1961, Stark Plumbing joined the Local 59 Plumbers Union with the intention of growing the commercial construction side of the business.
By 1993, then company president Mark Stark decided to further diversify our capabilities by merging with Nelson Excavation, forming The Nelson Stark Company. We now employ over 200 plumbers, operating engineers, and laborers.
