The Cincinnati Children’s – Liberty Campus project included a new 80,000 square foot proton therapy and cancer research center, one of only two such centers owned by a children’s hospital in the world. In addition to the proton therapy center, the campus also added a 4th floor to main hospital, for an increase to 40 patient beds. The expanded campus also features additional clinic and therapy space, a renovated 2nd floor concourse, a full service dining area, family resource center, expanded pharmacy, and a renovated lab and blood bank area.

Mercy Health began renovating the Anderson Hospital in late 2014. The $70 million expansion added nearly 150,000 square feet and spanned five floors. Work was completed in late 2016.

Miami University has been moving forward with its long-range housing plan over the past few years. The most recent, The North Quad, consisted of Brandon, Flower, Hahne and Hepburn residence halls, as well as the Martin dining hall. The Nelson Stark Company performed all underground utility upgrades and replacements, site excavation, and plumbing in all 5 buildings.

Location: Erlanger, KY
The Erlanger Commerce Center is located on a site that formerly was home to the Showcase Cinema movie theater, a 135-acre site that had been vacant since 2008. Phase I of this project features a 779,720 SF one-story industrial building with 36’ clearance height and 159 trailer storage spaces with a cross-dock configuration. The project will offer a combined 1.7 million SF of industrial space. Officially the largest industrial project in Al. Neyer history. Construction is nearing completion for the 301,050 SF Phase II building, and groundwork is starting for the 575,000 SF of Phase III.

The world’s largest military aviation museum added a new $40.8 million, 224,000 square foot fourth building recently to house four galleries – Presidential, Research and Development, Space and Global Reach, along with three science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Learning Nodes. The Nelson Stark Company provided the mass excavation and all site utilities for this project.

Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center broke ground on a new critical care building in 2018. The Nelson Stark Company performed the initial site and utility work, and is currently performing the plumbing package of this 609,100 square-foot addition and 136,100 square-foot renovation.
